Commercial licence terms

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This page summarises the general terms of the İZAN Server commercial licence. The binding terms are in the order form and agreement signed by the parties; if they conflict with this page, the signed documents prevail.

Parties

Licensor: Emre Akdemir, trading as Lyconiq, Istanbul, Türkiye ("Lyconiq"). Licensee: the organisation named in the order form (the "Customer").

Licence

For the subscription term, Lyconiq grants the Customer the right to use İZAN Server for its internal business purposes. The right is non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and limited to the plan and the number of active developers in the order form.

Restrictions

The Customer must not alter or bypass the licence file; rent, resell or offer the software as a service to third parties; reverse-engineer it except where mandatory law allows; or use it to build a competing product.

Open-source components

The İ.Z.A.N. open core is published under the MIT License and is not affected by this agreement. Third-party open-source components are governed by their own licences.

Fees and invoicing

Fees are set in the order form and, unless agreed otherwise, invoiced yearly in advance. Taxes are not included.

Customer data

Customer data belongs to the Customer. In an on-premises installation the software sends Lyconiq no data and Lyconiq has no access to it. In the cloud service, personal data is processed under the Data Processing Agreement.

Support and updates

Support and updates are provided within the scope and through the channels stated in the order form.

Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated in the signed agreement, the software is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory law, Lyconiq gives no express or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or compatibility with third-party products. The software calls no AI model; Lyconiq is not responsible for the output or decisions of AI agents.

Limitation of liability

Neither party is liable for indirect loss or for loss of profit, business, reputation or data. Lyconiq’s total liability is limited to the cap set in the agreement and in any case to the fees paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Intent, gross negligence and cases where mandatory law allows no limitation are unaffected.

Term and termination

The agreement runs for the term in the order form. Either party may terminate if the other materially breaches the agreement and does not cure the breach within a reasonable time. On termination the licence ends; the Customer may export its data.

Governing law and venue

Turkish law applies. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan), Türkiye, have jurisdiction.
